AssistMate is a digital, credit-based AI service. Because credits and AI inference are consumed instantly when used, our refund policy is designed to be fair to customers while reflecting the digital nature of the product.
1. 14-Day Refund Window — Unused Credits
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase only if none of the credits from that purchase have been used. If even a single credit from the purchase has been consumed, that purchase is no longer eligible for a refund.
2. Subscriptions
- The first payment of a new subscription is refundable within 14 days only if no credits from the current billing cycle have been used and no premium-only features have been accessed.
- Renewals are non-refundable. You can cancel anytime to stop future renewals; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
- Purchases older than 14 days.
- Purchases where any portion of the credits has been used.
- Dissatisfaction with AI output quality (AI feedback is inherently subjective).
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
4. Technical Issues and Billing Errors
If credits were charged but never delivered, or if you were billed in error, we will investigate and issue a full refund or credit equal to the affected amount, regardless of the 14-day window.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email support@assistmate.tech from the address on your account with:
- Your account email
- The order ID or approximate purchase date
- A short reason for the request
We review requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
